OpenNet utility to report connected clients

Closed

Would like a utility similar to the Monitor utility for Windows (synxfmon.exe) that would list the connected clients to an OpenNet service.  Ideally the utility would also provide information about the connections such as files opened, ability to specify port (if OpenNet running on multiple ports), date time of connection, etc.  This utility should be available on at least on Windows and Linux.

The client’s IP address does appear to be logged into the vtxnetd \ vtxnet2 (tcm_pid.log) log.

The proposed utility would help us diagnose issues where xfODBC connections are coming from multiple workstations across a WAN. We've had several cases recently where all of the xfODBC licenses were used on Linux servers, some of the connections were made in the past and we had no idea where the connections originated from.

Hi Terry,

While unfortunately with the current design of the driver it is not possible for Synergex to create such a utility.  However, the good news is it is an easy matter to get this information with the built-in netstat utility run on the OpenNet server machine.   We have created Knowledgebase article 2484 documenting this information.  The link to its page on the new Knowledgebase site is –
