Case Closed Emails Should Provide Link To Original Case

Delivered

All case close emails should contain a link to the original case in question to make it easy to validate that important notes are attached to a closed case.

There are several version of case close emails depending on what occurs. Here are several examples of this form letter.

This one occurs when the case is resolved but no tracker is assigned to it:

This one occurs when the case is closed but a tracker is assigned; note that in this version of the case the Title of the original case is also included which is not in the version above. This one includes a direct link to the tracker which is extremely useful:

This is what happens when your case is closed Unresolved, it is most similar to Case Closed Resolved (missing the title of the case)

In all cases it would be useful to give a direct link tot he case in question to allow us to quickly get to the case and validate that all the pertinent information has been thrown onto the case comments. Having consistency in the title would be useful as well.

Thank you

Thank you for the suggestion! I'm pleased to let you know that your idea has been accepted and implemented. Case closed e-mails will now always include a link back to the case along with the Case Number and Case Subject. We also changed the titles to be more consistent. Next time one of your cases closes out, take a look and let us know what you think.
