How Do I Deconfigure a License Client?

If I wanted to disassociate Synergy Clients what is the proper way to do this?

One way I can think of is to use LMU to set the license server to the localhost; this way I still get a zero exit code back like so:

"c:\Program Files (x86)\Synergex\SynergyDE\dbl\bin\lmu.exe" -r localhost -nc

Alternatively I can set it to an "invalid" license server but I will get a non-zero exit code.

I am trying to implement Powershell DSC's concept of "Ensure" for a License Client.

Synergy/DE licensing is not designed to allow clients to be de-configured in this way. This is by design and to enforce our licensing policies. In order to de-configure a license, you need to use a “-k string”, which requires contacting Synergex Customer Service.

So once I license a client as a license client that machine is permanently licensed to that license server unless I contact support? The alternative of setting it to an invalid address looks better and better all the time.
